š“4th of July-inspired post prompt
It's not cringey or forced.
To celebrate the 4th of July, here's a post prompt that plays into the freedom theme.
It's not cringey or forced.
It's a chance for you to talk about yourself and your experiences.
Here it is:
Talk about a time you handled conflict in a productive way.
It could be a moment when you:
Advocated for an idea you believed in
Respectfully pushed back on a strategy
Asked for the compensation you deserved
Once youāve decided on what you want to highlight, walk your readers through it.
What happened?
How'd it make you feel?
How did you go about resolving it?
What did you learn about yourself and the situation?
Before you start writing this post, here are three things to consider:
Donāt complain. This post isn't about venting or "subtweeting" someone. It's about focusing on your actions and growth.
Avoid oversharing. Keep it professional. Don't name names or get too personal. Say just enough that people get the gist.
Donāt have a bad attitude. Your goal is to tell this story in the most respectful and helpful way possible.
You never know, your post could inspire someone else to speak up for themselves, too.
Before you go
