I have an idea i’m toying with and would love your feedback.
Poll at the end ⬇️
I know coming up with content every weekday feels like a lot.
What do you write about?
Is this interesting?
Does anyone care?
These questions swirl, and before you know it, you skip a day.
And then another….and another.
No one will notice — that’s what you try telling yourself.
But, building a presence on LinkedIn involves consistency.
It’s showing up daily and contributing — posting your own content and leaving comments on other people’s.
If you’re feeling stuck, or you have more days of non-posting than you do days with posts, here are five prompts to get you back on track:
What book are you reading?/What podcast are you listening to? Share the name, tag the author/host, and talk about what you’ve enjoyed so far. Here’s an example.
If you could give one piece of advice to someone who’s just starting out in your industry, what would it be?
What tools/resources do you use every day that makes your job easier? You can create a list and share the product, tag the company, and what problem it solves. Here’s an example.
What are your hobbies? Social media is more personal. Yes, even on LinkedIn. Share what you do outside of working hours. You never know who shares your interests! (Read 🍴You're more than your job title )
Did you knock a project out of the park? Social is your living, breathing resume, so share your work with the public. Set the scene, talk about the process, and highlight the results. Mark Omlor does a great job of this.
