My .02 on the matter
How often have you followed a ābest practiceā only for it to flop?
Because, same.
Hereās the truth - just because it has a ābest practiceā label doesnāt mean itās best for your brand.
Take email marketing, for example.
There are days/times that are supposedly ideal for sending an email.
You teed up an email campaign, scheduled it for a Thursday morning, andā¦nothing.
Why? Best practices are based on averages - not the unique behavior of your audience.
So, instead of seeing them as absolute facts, see them as starting points.
From there, you can collect data to understand how your audience responds and uncover the days/times that work best for your audience.
Hereās the formula:
Test ā”ļø collect ā”ļø analyze ā”ļø implement ā”ļø repeat š
When was the last time you challenged an industry ābest practice?ā
