šŸ“Are best practices really the best?

My .02 on the matter

How often have you followed a ā€œbest practiceā€ only for it to flop?

Because, same.

Hereā€™s the truth - just because it has a ā€œbest practiceā€ label doesnā€™t mean itā€™s best for your brand.

Take email marketing, for example.

There are days/times that are supposedly ideal for sending an email.

You teed up an email campaign, scheduled it for a Thursday morning, andā€¦nothing.

Why? Best practices are based on averages - not the unique behavior of your audience.

So, instead of seeing them as absolute facts, see them as starting points.

From there, you can collect data to understand how your audience responds and uncover the days/times that work best for your audience.

Hereā€™s the formula:

Test āž”ļø collect āž”ļø analyze āž”ļø implement āž”ļø repeat šŸ”

When was the last time you challenged an industry ā€œbest practice?ā€

Thatā€™s all for today!
