This might seem counterintuitive.
How many times have you watched a video, downloaded a freebie, or purchased a course and then didn’t follow through on the person’s suggestions?
Let’s face it: we’ve all done it.
Someone we trusted shared their knowledge with us, but for some reason, we didn’t follow through.
It sounds like a negative situation, but it’s actually positive reinforcement for you.
You could give people the keys to the kingdom, but they still won’t turn the key.
Translation: Don’t be afraid to share your process with prospects.
In some cases, we guard our knowledge.
We’re afraid if we give too much, people will run with it and not need our help.
We see it as lost opportunities and money.
But if you consider what I described at the top of this email, you’ll realize that not many people do that.
When you share your skills, you show off your authority, build confidence with your audience, and create a sense of trust that leads to opportunity.
So, give them the keys. Odds are they’ll hand them back and pay you to turn it.
