šŸ“Give this writing prompt a try

Let's get those creative juices flowing āœļø

Improving your writing takes practice.

I think thatā€™s why I love writing The Lunch BreakšŸ“so much.

Every day, I take an idea out of my head and turn it into something Iā€™m excited to share.

Though writing is my ā€œthing,ā€ I firmly believe thereā€™s a writer in all of us.

Sometimes, it just needs a little more coaching to come out.

But this writing prompt is made for everyone.

Itā€™s calledā€¦

One Scene. Three People.

Hereā€™s how to do it.

Picture this: a little girl, her mom, and her grandma are watching the sunset on the beach.

NOTE: You can create any scene you want. This was just my idea!

Now, write the scene from each personā€™s vantage point.

  • How would the experience differ from person to person?

  • What are they focusing on?

  • What are they thinking about?

The best writing stirs emotion; this exercise is a great way to flex that muscle by seeing the world through their eyes and feeling what they feel.

Try it, and let me know what you think!

Building on Beehiiv

Every Friday on LinkedIn, I write a round-up post called Building on Beehiiv.

I use it as a journal to document my journey and process of building The Lunch Break šŸ“
