How to keep up and stand out

In partnership with

For a while there, LinkedIn’s algorithm was chaotic.

Everyone was posting one-liners. Me included.

#WeirdLinkedIn was alive and well!

It still kind of is, but there’s definitely a subtle shift as posts that offer real, constructive insight are getting more attention and better engagement.

Here’s what seems to be working lately on LinkedIn:

  • Posts where subject-matter expertise is evident, even if they’re shorter.

  • Original takes or process breakdowns, not recycled quotes or listicles.

  • A reliable cadence, my suggestion is always at least three posts per week, even if some are quieter or lower-traffic.

Finally, a portfolio that's auto-updating, and creates backups of your work.

Authory saves you hours with a portfolio that's always up-to-date, without you having to lift a finger.

Plus, Authory securely backs up all your articles, protecting you if the original site goes down.

Be ready to impress potential clients and employers, anytime.

Simply put…

Consistency and clarity are more important than novelty and noise.

That's why I still recommend the 3:1 framework: for every three business-focused posts, share one palate cleanser that shows who you are beyond your profession.

Now, knowing this is one thing. Acting on it is another.

That's where my MEAL Method comes in.

It’s a simple four-step framework that helps you turn ideas into posts that feel more human, helpful, and engaging.

But, every framework needs ideas, so here are 12 of them.

Pick one, work through the four steps, and post/schedule it.

Rinse & repeat this cycle.

Side note: If you commit to using all 12 of these posts and publishing three of them a week, you’ll have a month’s worth of content!
