🍴How do you find *your* voice?

I want to help you!

I love it when people ask me questions about LinkedIn.

Here’s a recent question I was asked + my answer ⬇️

QUESTION

Maria: Advice requested for the “new” LinkedIn participants: do you recommend finding your voice by just “being yourself” or is there a recommended strategy to keep consistency with your content that fortifies work-related personal brand?

ANSWER

I'd suggest you lean into your personality and talk about what interests you.

My approach is to focus on "and" not "or."

Meaning, you should talk about your profession AND the topics that interest you outside of work.

I've made so many strong connections with people because of the non-work-related topics I've covered in my content.

Plus, when you show up as yourself, people can sense you're being genuine, and they'll want to stick around.
