Why?

It’s a question that has many different meanings.

Sometimes, it’s inquisitive.

Sometimes, it’s to push back at what someone is saying.

“Why?” Is a question as marketers we need to ask ourselves.

It’s like when I try to get my kids to eat something new.

They ask, “Why?”

I can’t just say “because you have to.”

Let’s be honest, though. Some days, I do.

If I really want them to do it, I have to give them a reason.

“It makes your muscles stronger.” or “It’s good for your brain.”

Your audience is no different. They want to know the reason behind your claims.

It’s easy to go off and tell the world your product is the best.

But the difference between a sale and silence is your ability to answer the question, “why?”

Your answers are the proof.

The evidence that turns interest into action.

So when writing copy, and you’re making a claim, instead of leaving it at face value.

Dig a little deeper.

Ask yourself the question “why?”

Why would someone care?
Why is this important?

Your answers don’t just strengthen your message; they build trust, nurture relationships, and drive results.

So, why not start now?
