🍴What format is best?
It's not as complicated as you think.
You need to post video.
Selfies are better.
Don’t worry about either, text-based is where it’s at.
Every day we’re told to show up on LinkedIn a certain way if we want to succeed, but let me just say…
There’s no perfect format for LinkedIn.
You’re ability to connect with your audience is unique to you, not anyone else.
For me, I’ve found:
Short, text-based posts (10–15 lines) are my jam. They’re easy for me to write and easy for my followers to read.
Carousels are great when I have more to say, but don’t want to overwhelm people with a wall of text.
Learn AI in 5 minutes a day
This is the easiest way for a busy person wanting to learn AI in as little time as possible:
Sign up for The Rundown AI newsletter
They send you 5-minute email updates on the latest AI news and how to use it
You learn how to become 2x more productive by leveraging AI
It’s all trial and error.
I follow people who THRIVE posting video content like Andy Milligan!
Others communicate expertly through a few short sentences. All eyes on you Savannah Evanoff!!
Some people like Amanda Hofman crush it with visuals (and let’s be honest, she is so good with video, too!).
What’s your go-to?
If you’re good in front of the camera, test video.
If writing is your strong suit, test text-only posts.
If you don’t know yet, test all of these options and see where you feel most comfortable AND what resonates most with your audience.
And, if you struggle coming up with topics, I pulled together 12 post prompts to help you get started ⬇️
