🍴Did it flop?

Don't give up. Try these three tips.

I’ve had my fair share of LinkedIn flops.

Honestly, some have been so bad, I completely deleted them off my feed.

Is that the best thing to do?

Jury’s still out.

Now, there have been times where I let those posts go.

Yes, I have to give my ego a pep talk before doing it, but flops are learning opps.

So, if one of your posts flops, don’t give up on it.

Give it another chance to succeed by republishing it in few weeks.

Now, it’s not a classic copy-and-paste job. You’ll have to do a little rehab on the post.

Here are three tips to get you started:

  1. Review the post topic. With fresh eyes and a heart full of honesty, ask yourself if the post content actually interesting for your audience. Did it align with your other top-performing posts. If you’re not sure about your top-performing content or where to even find them, check out my🍴LinkedIn Analytics post. That’ll help you find this information and use it to your advantage.

  2. Tweak the copy and creative. Sometimes, a small change can make a big difference. I suggest starting with the hook. That’s the first thing people see and read. Make it interesting!

  3. Engage more with other people’s content before and after posting. When you do this, you’re being social on social, getting on other people’s radars, and attracting more attention back to your profile.

Always give your content more than one chance to succeed!

Keep trying. Keep learning. Keep growing.

If we’re not connected on LinkedIn yet, let’s do it!
