🍴What's the ROI?

3 tips to make the most of LinkedIn.

The return on investment (ROI) of anything is determined by skill and effort.

Think about it.

If you gave Beethoven a piano and Jimi Hendrix a guitar, they’d make magic.

Me, on the other hand, not so much.

People would probably pay me to stop.

The difference maker is how those 88 keys and six strings are used.

It’s a lot building a LinkedIn presence.

We all start at zero and, more or less, are given the same opportunities to succeed.

Just like playing music on a piano or guitar, your success on LinkedIn depends on your skills and your willingness to learn and improve.

How can you channel your inner Beethoven and Hendrix to create LinkedIn magic?

Here are three tips.

  1. Share what you know.

What’s second nature to you might be a novel idea to someone else.

Practical advice is shareable advice! Share what you know.

  1. Be social.

The yin and yang of social media is striking a balance between content creation and engagement.

I’ve mentioned it before but schedule a daily five-minute meeting.

Use that time to scroll your LinkedIn feed and comment on people’s posts.

The more you engage, the more attention you draw to yourself and the more connections you’ll likely create.

  1. Turn comments into content.

I sound like a broken record, but I don’t care. This is important!

Make your life a lot easier by turning those comments you leave on people’s posts into posts of your own!

You’ve already done the heavy lifting. Use it to your advantage!

Read my post; 🍴Comments are content for four tips on how to do this.
